Student Information

  1. Student selection for the Advanced School is now finalised and final arrangements are now being completed for the teaching Faculty. Students have been selected from all corners of the world.

  2. ABSTRACTS: All students at the School have submitted abstracts, which will be incorporated into a booklet to be distributed to all people attending the School. Please note that you have one last opportunity to amend and update your abstract to be included in the School booklet.
The previous instructions for Abstract preparation were as follows: “scientific abstract relevant to the poster and brief talk to be presented at the School – this abstract would normally be the same abstract you intend to submit to the 21st Biennial ISN-ASN Congress and should be submitted in the same format.” If you wish to alter your abstract, please send it as a word document to linda.mercer@florey.edu.au by June 1st.

  3. POSTERS: Every student at the School is expected to present a poster. The dimensions and format will be the same as those for the ISN-ASN Congress. There will be a prize for the best poster presentation.

  4. ORAL PRESENTATIONS: Every student at the School is expected to present a 2 minute oral presentation. Your presentation should be on the same topic as your poster. Two Powerpoint slides only are permitted – these should allow you to introduce your data, present your data in a very brief format and the conclusions arising from your work. Please rehearse your presentation as the time limit will be strictly enforced. There will be a prize for the best oral presentation.

  5. TRANSPORT TO THE SCHOOL: Final organisation will depend on the arrival times of students and Faculty in Cancun. We still intend to have buses at approximately at 12.00 and 16.30, which will pick up participants at the downtown bus terminal and the airport.
To coordinate the organisation of bus travel, we need you to send us your flight details and your anticipated time of arrival in Cancun. This particularly applies to participants arriving on Wednesday 15th August. If you are arriving before this date, please indicate whether you will meet the bus downtown or at the airport.

  6. ACCOMMODATION: Twin share arrangements will be organised and details of the arrangements will only be given to you when you arrive at the hotel at Valladolid.
